Corpultt's Warsong 2: Overworlds

In this game, there are custom MS Paint overworlds and the level names (cw2_chapter_1_2a) correspond to the levels on the OW maps.
Level cw2_chapter_1_2a corresponds to 1-2. The lowercase letter at the end corresponds to a different sector within a level.

Here is world 1:

Corpulett from the previous game has returned with an evil new scheme to cause ultamite trouble to this new world!
In the game, Maryo will have to stop him!

The game will be released as packaged chapters.

SIDE NOTE: The W1 map was fine-tuned and upgraded.

Oh wow, Corpultt's Warsong! I remember playing that level set.

Now you make me want to play it again! To make sure I have my facts right for this one.

I played some of CW1 after I added it to the level repository during the initial upload initiated by MrV. I got stuck on the first boss because of a bug in SMC-GIT, but I'm pretty sure the bug was fixed, so I should play the rest of the game. Sadly, SMC won't compile for me because I'm having a lot of trouble with the dependency on a new version of Boost.

Here is the second world of Corpulett's Warsong 2.

The secret for 2-8 was revealed.

This world is where your first real battle against Corpulett begins.

CW2 Chapter 2 will be realeased once the board attachment quota is expanded.
After that, the world map for world 3 (Subterranean City) will be posted for a first glance.

Now that CW2 Chapter 2 has been released, here is a gander at Cw2 Chapter 3 (an underground city).

The Difficulty curve tries to steepen more here.

2-7 in CW2 was previously broken because some platforms were missing/invisible.
That is now fixed.

After Subterranean City was explored successfully, Maryo finds a vine that leads to the land above. Atria Heights!

THings will definitely get trickier in this world. Get ready for a real challenge up ahead!

Maryo then rides on a moving platform down and finds himself freezing in the Ice Continent. A faraway dome is visible.

Cool! I haven't been on SMC in a while. I need to play it again. I only played a few levels in CW2.
