Difficulty line

What do you think of the worlds difficulty?
I think in this way:
1 - Easiest (correct)
2 - A bit harder (correct)
3 - Even harder (correct)
4 - Easier than world 3 (wrong)

The levels in world 4 are too easy.
There should be harder levels!
Here my KO counts on a spontaneous walkthrough:
1: 0 Kos
2: 2 Kos (thanks, pasol_1 :? )
3: 6 Kos (thanks, wn_06 :? :? )
4: 3 Kos (thanks, sauer2_1 :? )

Makes a total of 11 Kos.
More than half of this in world 3.
The only level that fits the difficulty world 4 should have is sauer2_1.
The other levels should be even harder not easier...
That's my opinion to the worlds.

I find queSauer2_1 is rather hard month than wn_06! and wn_06 if thinks it is more hard really! :)

wn_06 is the hardest official level.
sauer2_1 comes after this.

Yeah, Wn_06 is the hardest one. Especially when you are the small Maryo. When you have fire, it's easy :)

I made sauer2_4 - sauer2_8 harder.

Test them in SVN 1461 :)

Here what I think to the updates:
sauer2_4: 0:16 - It's a bit harder and it should really come a static enemy which is useable in land levels :) Nice Changes! School mark: 1-
sauer2_5: 0:12 - Why do I hear the rokko shout sound but no rokko appears? If the rokkos appear this level would be pretty fit with the difficulty. :) Good Changes! School mark: 2
sauer2_6: 0:16 - Same as in sauer2_5, I hear rokkos but they don't want to appear :( Anyway I couldn't notice any good changes, so my School mark is: 3
sauer2_7: 0:23 - I notices a few new enemies, but nothing really good/exciting actually. This time the rokko appeared? Not really changed anything (except a few enemies), so the school mark is: 3, too
sauer2_8: 0:20 - Didn't noticed anything, but I actually played this level only twice, :) I guess you changed something. And I don't remember so many eatos. Good Work! School mark: 2

And, this is to every level creator who didn't got how to create hard levels:
It's not that you place enemies, it's how you place them!

I made eatomania really hard (especially the start :twisted: ), but after you got the two stars the level is (like ever) boring and easy.
I'll make a feature request for this.
Give me some feedback please!

You need the latest SVN for the special up and down version of the rokko i implemented :)

It's only boring if you already played it :P
It probably has a low replay value/fun.

I let the flyons, it's fun to watch them fight each other. :P

Yeah, eatomania is pretty boring (even if it would be harder than my version :!: ).
The thromp really didn't fit, it's nice that it got removed.
Also the saws in sauer2_4 don't fit, too.
When pathes are available for gees, they should be replaced with gees.
I will get the latest SVN now and then play the levels again.
On last thing:
The levels shouldn't only be harder, but longer too.
long & hard = fun 4 skilled players :!: :!:

This what you say hear, is what isn't true.
I guess this level would fit the difficulty which would be needed for the first levels of a 5th world or for the last ones of the 4th world.
That's what I would expect from the last worlds!
Also the discussion here isn't really over.
The levels aren't hard enough anyway (except sauer2_1 and now sauer2_4).

Here a few marks to the two levels I downloaded:
lvl_38:
Style: 2 (nice style, I like it)
Coins: 3 (too many for w5)
Enemies: 4+ (too less for w5)
Abysses: 4 (too less for w5, too)
Difficulty: 4 (far too easy for w5)
lvl_40;
Style: 1- (very nice style)
Coins: 2 (the number of coins I expect for w5)
Enemies: 3-- (too less for w5, too. But they are not bad placed, so that they can make your life harder)
Abysses: 4+ (the lava replaces abysses)
Difficulty: 3-- (even too easy)
I didn't downloaded more...
It's fun to play them, but I'm not looking for fun (like this) in w5. In w5(+) I look for challenging levels (which is of course fun too), which I can't beat in my first or second try...

I can't say much about World 5 as i didn't play it yet extensively.

How about a hardcore bonus world ?
The official levels should be playable for kids.

I really love this idea.
This would be really fun.
Maybe my level lvl_X (see in Releases the thread is called lvl_X) could be one of the first levels of this world?
Anyway, as lvl_X is now, its too bad to become part of SMC. So I'm gonna give it a few updates and load them up.
